As we plate up the last sizzling hog roasts of 2025 and finally give our serving tongs a well-earned rest, we’re reminded (once again) why the festive season has our whole team wrapped around its little finger. There’s something about the Christmas period that brings out the very best in people, and being in the middle of it all is exactly why we adore this season.
These past few weeks have been a bit of a blur, to say the least, but in the best way. One morning we’d find ourselves setting up for an office Christmas do where the staff were already in such good spirits it felt like we’d walked straight into a Hallmark movie. The next minute, we’d be serving a small-but-mighty “Friendmas” gathering where people joined with their chosen families for a more laid-back kind of celebration. And then there were the big community parties – the ones where we could feel the excitement building in the air before we’d even unloaded the catering van. Each event had its own quirks and charm – and we relished every second!
And we have to brag for a second because our Hog Roast Bridlington caterers have been absolute stars throughout. You’d imagine that weeks of back-to-back bookings might flatten the energy levels a bit, but no – every single event was tackled with the same enthusiasm and care. They joked through the cold snaps; kept spirits high during the busy spells, and made each service feel special. That’s no small feat, and we couldn’t be more proud.
Now, with December winding down and the last crumbs brushed off our aprons, Hog Roast Bridlington is starting to get that little fizz of excitement for 2026. New bookings, new venues, custom menus galore… we say, bring it on! If this season proved anything, it’s that good food has a way of pulling people together, and being part of those moments is something we’ll never take for granted.
