If there’s one thing we love about East Yorkshire, it’s how it never fails to surprise you. One minute you’re standing on a sea-bleached cliff watching the gulls, the next you’re rolling through the green calm of the Wolds, wondering if you’ve stumbled into a painting. It’s no wonder everyone wants to throw their events here – weddings, birthdays, corporate dos, you name it. And if you ask us, nothing pairs better with a stunning backdrop than a proper hog roast.
Before you book your spot with Hog Roast East Yorkshire, though, here are a few of the questions we get asked all the time.
- Q) Can You Cater In Remote Locations?
Short answer: yes. Long answer: absolutely yes.
No, but seriously, we’ve built our whole setup to be as mobile as possible. Because our grills run on gas, we’re not stuck looking for plug sockets or power points – if you can get there, so can we. Our equipment might look hefty, but it’s surprisingly lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. We’ve cooked on cliff tops, in country fields, by lakes – even in a cave once (don’t ask).
So, whether your party’s overlooking Bempton Cliffs or tucked away deep in the Wolds, we’ll bring the feast to you.
- Q) Will You Provide Cover For My Guests If It Rains?
Ah, the great British weather – everyone’s not-so favourite gamble. Sunshine one minute, sideways rain the next. While we don’t supply guest shelters ourselves, we know plenty of local companies who do. Gazebos, tipis, stretch tents – Hog Roast East Yorkshire will happily point you in the right direction. We do, however, bring our own small cover for our cooking station. Keeps the food (and our team) nice and dry. No soggy hogs here, promise.
- Q) What Happens If I Need To Cancel?

Life happens. Whether it’s wild weather or unexpected changes, just give Hog Roast East Yorkshire a ring as soon as you can. We’ll always try to rearrange for a future date that works for you. No need to stress.
At the end of the day, our goal’s simple: good food, good times, and no drama. Wherever your event takes you, we’ll make sure the roast is worthy of the view.
