Summer Dreams and Sizzling Scenes: Hog Roast Goole Caters For A Travel Expo!

Hog Roast GooleWith summer just around the corner, one word is on everyone’s lips: holiday! Whether you’re passport-ready for a tropical getaway or mapping out a scenic staycation here in the UK, there’s no better time to relax, recharge, and enjoy a change of pace. And if you’ve noticed more caravans on the roads lately, you’re not imagining things – staycations are officially in vogue!

Since COVID reshaped how we travel, more people are embracing the charm of UK holidays, with caravans and campervans leading the charge. That trend was in full swing earlier this month at the Caravan and Road Trip Expo held right here in East Yorkshire. From UK travel guidebooks to tent-pitching demos and travel gear galore, the event was a wanderluster’s dream. Visitors soaked up expert advice at Q&A panels, grabbed some outdoor essentials, and cooled off with smoothies and ice cream in the sunshine.

But if we’re being completely honest, the real crowd-puller at this event was the food. And that’s where Hog Roast Goole came in!

Hog Roast Gooles’s talented catering crew was beyond thrilled to be part of the action, serving up juicy, flavour-packed hog roast sandwiches to a queue of hungry adventurers. Every ticket holder walked away with a complimentary hog roast sandwich, and trust us, they were not disappointed.

Our team made sure each fluffy roll was piled high with tender pulled pork, herby sage and onion stuffing, crunchy pork scratchings, and a sweet hit of applesauce – a festival of flavours in every bite. On the side? A hearty helping of coleslaw, salads, and golden mixed fries. Delicious!

And, as always, we made sure every veggie and vegan in attendance felt included! Our smoky BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls were a hit, offering that classic BBQ depth without a hint of meat. Hog Roast Goole loved seeing everyone tuck in, chat about their holiday plans, and share their excitement for summer adventures.

Whether you’re heading for the hills in a camper or pitching up in your back garden, holiday magic is what you make of it. And if there’s great food along the way? Even better.
